The imposition of the euro had one true goal: To end the European welfare state....
It would be refreshing to hear political leaders say the honest economic truth: “Workers of Europe unite! You have nothing to lose but the euro—and your chains.”

I tried posting Palast's article this morning on Varoufakis' blog, to give the cheerleaders there a reality check. Unfortunately, my post is "awaiting moderation." That means it's not getting posted. It's not V's doing, or anything like that, as his forum is not moderated. It's happened before, most probably my browser.
P.S. I'd love to see the uncompromisingly forthright Franco and Norman take on some of the cheerleaders on V's blog. Then, on second thought, maybe not ;)
