Check out this neat new yield curve tool from NYT

The NYT Upshot column put together this neat new 3-D tool that visualization the yield curve of US Treasury securities going back to 1990. It's an interactive tool that can be viewed from all angles, however some of the information blurbs provided alongside are mixed in accuracy. One of the comments says "short term rates basically follow those set by the Fed" which is true, while another blurb says  " the yield curve shows how much it costs the federal government to borrow money" which as we know is somewhat misleading.

They need to superimpose the rate curves for all the major regions with open capital markets onto one chart so we can visualize where market rates are cheapest and see if the flows from rates accurately reflect forex prices :).
